Restaurant sites are used in a hurry. Someone is deciding where to eat, usually on a phone, usually within a minute. Everything that isn't the menu, the hours, or the address is in the way.
Cadillac Grill's site puts those three things within immediate reach while still carrying the room's character — the branding does the atmospheric work, the structure does the practical work, and neither one is asked to compensate for the other.
Menu presentation got the most attention: long, dense, frequently updated content that still has to feel designed on a 375-pixel screen.
What I did
- Frontend development of the responsive site.
- Menu presentation system built for long, frequently changing content.
- Brand expression translated into a web visual language.
- Mobile-first layout and typography.
- Production deployment and domain configuration.
