Edvin's is a two-part product: a public website that carries the shop's identity online, and an iPad application used inside the shop during the consultation itself.

The tablet app presents the barber's repertoire as a browsable catalogue of styles. Instead of describing a cut in words — the point where most haircut conversations go wrong — a client scrolls, sees the work, and points at the one they want. The barber and the client end up looking at the same reference before the clippers come out.

The two surfaces share a visual language, but they were designed for completely different postures: one is a website someone scans on a phone before booking, the other is a device handed across a chair.

What I did

  • Designed and built the public-facing website, including responsive layout and content structure.
  • Designed and built the iPad application used in-shop for style selection.
  • Structured the style catalogue so images carry the browsing experience with minimal chrome.
  • Tuned the tablet interface for handheld use — large targets, single-hand scrolling, glanceable at arm's length.
  • Handled deployment and production domain configuration.
